Direct Cremation + Memorial · Seattle

Modern cremation. Honest pricing. No gimmicks.

Direct cremation, $1,895. Memorial gathering in your home, $750. Memorial in our chapel, $2,400. Every price on one page — see for yourself.

We started Marker because we believed most people don't want what funeral homes have been selling.

We were right. Since 2016 we've served fourteen hundred families in Seattle, with prices that fit on a single page and no upsell scripts. Cremation. A small memorial in our chapel or your home. That's what we do.

Three options. Three prices. No fine print.

Founder

Lena founded Marker in 2016.

Master's in mortuary science. Seven years at a corporate firm in Portland. Walked out one Tuesday in 2014 because she could not watch one more grieving family be upsold a hardwood casket. Started Marker in a converted printing house in Belltown two years later.

Marker has buried fourteen hundred people since 2016. We have never charged a markup we couldn't explain in one sentence.
